The Company - XOP - Conserves de Ponent

The XOP Company (XOP) is a diversified company whose principal operations include mushroom growing, mushroom packaging, mushroom processing and mushroom marketing.
XOP was established in 2004 at Juneda (Spain) based on 2000 m² growing houses. XOP’s success in consistently producing high quality fresh mushrooms is the foundation of the company’s successful processed mushroom products.
As for research and development in the mushroom- related business, XOP is working jointly with a research group of the University of Barcelona on developing a new cultivation method for the growth of some Pleurotus mediterranean varieties.
